Various activities were also implemented that promote the wise use and conservation of wetlands in the island of Tawi-Tawi.

Symposium on Wetlands and Mariculture:  Partners for Growth
World Wetlands Day 2014 was celebrated by holding a forum to raise awareness on the connectivity and  the role of wetlands in Mariculture.
Tawi-Tawi Wetlands Caravan 
The Tawi-Tawi Wetlands Caravan served as the communication, education, participation and awareness (CEPA) program of the Provincial Government with its partners.		 Workshop on Environmental Issues and Concern
A series of events was held in Tawi-Tawi to celebrate the Environment Month, two of which were Essay Writing Contest and Workshop on Environmental Issues and Concern
Forum on Healthy Wetlands, Healthy People
A Forum was held at Mindanao State University – Tawi-Tawi to celebrate World Wetlands Day 2008.		 Tawi-Tawi Economic and Environment Summit
– the first in Tawi-Tawi, with the theme “Bridging Economic and Environment Goals:  Key to Sustainable Development”, was held on 16-17 September 2006.
Ecological Camp for the Youth of Tawi-Tawi
Tawi-Tawi also celebrated World Wetlands Day 2007 by holding a Youth Ecological Camp.		 Wetlands Caravan in Tawi-Tawi
The SCPW Wetlands Caravan  was simultaneously launched in Tawi-Tawi as part of their celebration of World Wetlands Day 2006.

– Kilos Kabataan Para sa Karagatan was conducted at the Mindanao State University-TCTO Parade Ground on 5 – 6 June 2004 to celebrate World Environment Day.		 Spot Essay Writing Contest
–  on “The Stake of the Youth in our Seas and other Aquatic Resources” was held on 21 October 2005 to celebrate Fish Conservation Day, aimed to  discover the innate talents of students in expressing themselves in an expository essay format.
