Every year, the World Water Day is celebrated on 22 March to remind us the importance of fresh water to mankind and to advocate sustainable management of fresh water resources. In the Philippines, a series of activities and events were held by various groups (offices, agencies, organizations) for the whole month of March to celebrate it. This year’s celebration highlights “wastewater” – about reducing and reusing wastewater. The discharge of wastewater into the environment poses serious threat.
