On March 15, 2025, the Society for the Conservation of Philippine Wetlands, Inc. (SCPW) conducted an internal evaluation meeting at the Las Piñas–Parañaque Wetland Park Conference Room to review its 2024 activities and set the direction for the year ahead. The meeting served as a critical step in strengthening SCPW’s strategies and ensuring that its conservation initiatives remain effective, relevant, and responsive to emerging challenges.

During the session, the SCPW team assessed the outcomes of its programs and identified opportunities to enhance its Communication, Capacity Building, Education, Participation, and Awareness (CEPA) campaign. Building on lessons learned from the previous year, the organization outlined plans for a series of activities in 2025 that aim to further promote wetland conservation through collaboration with partners at both national and international levels.DSC02326

By aligning its plans with broader conservation goals, SCPW reaffirmed its commitment to raising public awareness and strengthening community involvement in safeguarding wetlands.
