The SCPW participated in Life Project 4 Youth’s Entrepreneurs Day on January 19, 2020 at the British School Manila. This is the 11th Edition of the Entrepreneurs Day and it celebrates the Youth from LP4Y Manila, the Stars Clubs and you, our partners.

The SCPW has been partnering with the LP4Y at the Calauan Eco Village since 2015, working on the Showcase for Green Filters in the Philippines project. The Green Filters are artificial, plant based wastewater treatment systems that can be described as water channels whose surface is covered with aquatic plants or a natural system of floating macrophytes. The project site is at the Green Village in Caluan, Laguna. The village will be the Training Center of Life Project for Youth (LP4Y – Philippines) for the social and professional integration of young adults in extreme poverty and exclusion.

The all-day celebrations included between presentations of the accomplishments and testimonies from alumni. Partners will share their vision of entrepreneurship. In the afternoon, an amazing “Youth Talent Show” will show us how daring is always the first step to success.

During the event Executive Director Amy Lecciones and Special Projects Officer Aaron Lecciones were able to meet with Adrien Marty, the current Leader of the Green Village Calauan.
