The SCPW Team participated in the blessing of the Green Village (Ecological Village) of the Life Project 4 Youth at Calauan, Laguna last 27 July, 2018. The team was joined by a team from the University of the Philippines (UPLB) College of Human Ecology Department of Community and Environmental Resource Planning (DCERP) and their guest, Senior Lecturer at the University of Surrey, UK, Dr Devendra Saroj. The team from SCPW and the UPLB-DCERP also visited at the Green Filters Showcase for the Philippines project which aims to clean wastewater using natural treatment wetlands.
The team was toured by the LP4Y Project Leader for the Green Village Calauan, Milan dela Porte after the blessing and were shown the progress the Green Village has made. They discussed further ways to collaborate for the success of the village.
