Dance for the Trees is a fund-raising event of the Society for the Conservation of Philippine Wetlands, Inc. (SCPW) on 25 February 2012 at the Ballroom of Celebrity Sports Plaza in Quezon City, a first of the series of activities to raise funds  for the maintenance of 45 hectares of trees in the enrichment plantation at Mount Arayat. The occasion was a dinner-dance to provide an opportunity for wetland advocates to come together and celebrate the small successes that the SCPW have achieved in terms of watershed conservation particularly in Arayat-Candaba area, and to contribute to this worthy endeavor.

The enrichment plantation at Mount Arayat started under the SCPW project – Rehabilitation of Arayat Watershed for the Protection of Candaba Wetlands also known as The Tree-preneur Project, which was funded by the United Nations Development Programme.
